I obviously need a lot more practice, but considering my client was not holding still and it was my first attempt, I don't think it turned out too bad. At least Naomi appears to be happy with it.

First Attempt
I knew Naomi's hair was now long enough on the top and sides that I could do something with it and this morning I got brave enough to try.

She is so cute! We used to get pictures of Maria from her hogar with her hair elaborately pulled back in all of these tiny rubber bands. It has not ever looked like that since. I have no idea how they did it. Even now, fixing her hair is like trying to hit a moving target. She cannot be still. As long as it is out of her face, I am happy. :)
that looks GREAT - i'm jealous at your skills already. you will be able to do super cute hairstyles after just little practice. then there's me on the other hand, who fails/failed miserably with AA hair and just given up and have others do it for me, sigh.
to bad you live so far away, i'd swing by at least once a months to have yo's hair done by you :-)
