CWA Response
Because CWA has issued a response to the recent CBS report, I am posting it here. I'll leave it up to the readers to come to their own conclusions about this situation.

So, either CWA's lawyers (who drafted the statement) are lying OR the Bradshaws & their children, along with the CWA worker seen on video soliciting children are all lying.
I disagree with many of the CWA's "facts" because they are not what I have experienced and not what some of my friends have experienced. I know a lot of families who brought home "abandoned" children who later found that the parents were deceived into relinquishing the child. Re: ages, I know many families who were given wrong ages. In the case of a good friend who adopted 3 birth siblings, all over 5, the children were "coached" to say younger ages, the agency knew it, the paperwork was falsified, and in the birth mother video she told the true ages (along with medical issues) and the agency's in-country rep did not disclose the same in her interpretation (Amharic to English.)
I agree Debbie that we need to/must trust that our childrens' adoptions were legal. But knowing first-hand of issues similar to CWA, and being a lawyer myself, I believe they are lying.
