After a quick call to our agency consultant, I have verified that our Embassy appointment is in fact confirmed for March 22nd. I then found a really good deal on airfare and our tickets are booked. We will leave March 13th from Chicago flying to Washington D.C. We leave Washington D.C. the evening of March 13th and arrive in Addis Ababa the evening of March 14th. On March 15th we will head to Toukoul, where Naomi will be placed in our arms and we will never let her go. Saying that is overwhelming, but in a good way.
We originally planned to leave Ethiopia on March 26th, but have shortened the trip by one day so we'll be leaving the evening of March 25th arriving back in Chicago the afternoon of March 26th.
Guest House reservations - check
Airline tickets purchased - check
Now I have to find some cheap parking near O'Hare Airport. Anyone out there know of any?
