Lili's language continues to amaze us. There are still many things she says that is not understood by any human on earth, except for maybe mom. I frequently hear Lili having conversation with daddy and daddy saying, "Honey, a little help here!" In other words, "What the heck is she trying to say" Many times I can figure it out, but at times it's impossible. However, some of the phrases we've been able to understand lately have had us laughing out loud. Like last week when we were getting ready to go somewhere and she shouted, "Hurry, hurry amanos." And if you didn't figure it out, amanos is vamanos. Thank you Dora! And for the last few days she's been saying, "Help you! Chirp chirp." She means help me, but I have no idea where chirp chirp came from. Still it's really funny and will probably become a new phrase in the house.
The age of 2 is frustrating and amazing all at the same time for both parents and child. Thus the reason it's called the 'terrible twos.'

It really is good and bad at the same time...but they grow up so fast and lose their innocent ways..we will miss some of that with my little man not being able to talk due to cleft issues...one day he will have a lot to say!
I so agree. We are just in awe of Joshua's language development. And most of the time I get what he is saying even if others don't. But there are days...well, it can be trying at times. :)
